Join the Chicago Botanic Gardens traditional Earth Day walk in the 100-acre McDonald Woods at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. The naturally occurring oak woodland community of plants and animals has been restored for the public to experience some of the rich native communities that once covered the Midwest. Explore other gardens during free walking tours on Saturdays through May 24. Led by Chicago Botanic Garden staff, tours begin at 1 p.m. and last for 45 minutes to an hour. 5/10/2008- 10/26/2008	Model Railroad Garden A perennial favorite, the Model Railroad Garden delights visitors of all ages with the sights and sounds of garden-scale trains traversing bridges and trestles, miniature scenes of America's best-loved landmarks and beautiful gardens planted to scale. The Garden's 2008 exhibition features evening hours and new attractions. The 7,500-square-foot exhibition is open from 10am-5pm daily, with special hours until 8pm daily from Saturday, June 7 through Monday, Sept. 1. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. Members receive $1 off each ticket price.
